Bryan Burgett is an amateur historian, essayist, and author. Currently he is a candidate for a Master's Degree in American History at Northern Illinois University. Bryan studies political and economic history with an interest in American foreign policy. He also holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business, a J.D. from DePaul University College of Law, and a B.A. from Northern Illinois University.
Bryan worked for 30 years in the US healthcare industry as a transactions specialist and strategist. He was involved in over 120 M&A situations involving hospitals, medical groups, surgery centers, and other healthcare providers. His career experience focused mainly on planning, structuring, and negotiating mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures between healthcare providers. During his career Bryan served healthcare clients in financial advisory, management consulting, and corporate counsel roles. He is a licensed attorney (Illinois) with experience in corporate law and contracts.
